Overview
Midwest Truck Driving School is a CDL driver training company in the United States. The project came to me as a finished Figma design that needed building in WordPress exactly as drawn.

The Opportunity
Figma-to-WordPress work is judged differently to a design project. There is no interpretation required and no room for improvement. A designer has already made the decisions, and my job is to build what they drew without quietly changing spacing, weights or proportions because something was inconvenient to implement.
Most conversions drift. Padding gets rounded to a convenient number, a font weight gets swapped for one already loaded, a breakpoint gets skipped. Individually invisible, collectively the reason the built site never quite looks like the design.
What I Built
The full page built to match the Figma file, including a reviews section, a thank you page for post-enquiry, scroll animations, and SEO meta setup throughout.
What pixel-perfect actually means
It means the spacing is the spacing in the file. The type scale is the type scale in the file. The responsive behaviour follows what the designer intended rather than whatever the theme does by default.
For a driving school this matters commercially, not just aesthetically. Prospective students are comparing training providers, and a site that looks carefully made suggests a business that is carefully run.
Conclusion
This is the work I do most often for agencies: they design, I build, and the client sees exactly what they were shown in the pitch.
