Overview
Signal Sprint Studio is a video content agency in Moldova. When Victor got in touch he had a business, a skill set and a portfolio of work, and no website at all.
He also had no clients.
What the project involved
- A custom WordPress website built from scratch
- Hosting set up on Hostinger
- Business email configured
- Contact forms wired up and tested
The Opportunity
A video agency is judged on how its own work looks. A prospect who lands on a template site with stock imagery has already formed a view about the quality of the video they are going to get back.
That made this a straightforward brief with a high bar. The site had to look like it was made by someone who understands visual craft, because that is the product.
What I Built
A custom design rather than a theme, built so Victor’s showreel and project work sit at the centre of the page instead of competing with decoration.
Beyond the build itself, Victor needed the surrounding infrastructure that makes a business look established: hosting configured properly, a business email address on his own domain rather than a free account, and contact forms that reliably deliver.
None of that is complicated work. All of it is the difference between looking like a business and looking like someone experimenting.
The Result
Victor landed his first client within a week of the site going live.
That is the clearest outcome I have from any project, and it is worth being precise about what it does and does not prove. The website did not create demand. Victor was already capable and already looking. What the site did was remove the reason a prospect would say no.
Conclusion
Not every business needs fifty pages and a location strategy. Some need one well-made site that makes them look like what they already are.
Signal Sprint is the project I point people at when they ask whether a website can actually change anything. One week from launch to first client.
